2010 marked the 15-year anniversary of Duck Down Music. Buckshot has taken his 15-year experience and has crafted a hard-cover book entitled The Common Knowledgy Of The Entertainment Industry. The book is comprised of three stages. Buckshot first educates readers on the 'Basics' of the entertainment industry providing his definitions for terms associated within the business. Buckshot then transitions to the 'Framework,' or inner-workings of a music label and answers commonly posed questions that he receives from fans & interviewers. In the final stage, Buckshot unveils 'How It All Works,' and illustrates the process of putting the knowledge to use & executing proposed goals.

 

Accompanying the book is a 16-track CD album. The album features original Buckshot music based on the concepts from within the chapters.

About The Author:Buckshot

Buckshot is the co-owner of Duck Down Music & lead MC for Black Moon & Boot Camp Clik. He, along with his business partner, Dru Ha, started Duck Down Music in 1995 and has executive-producer credit on the over 3 million records that the label has sold. Buckshot has worked with high-profile names in the industry such as: Mary J Blige, the late, great, Tupac Shakur & Aaliyah, Busta Rhymes, Q-Tip,Spike Lee, KRS-ONE, Talib Kweli & more.

He has remained active as a recording artists throughout the years with his work alongside grammy-award winning producer, 9th Wonder, and his recent group project with KRS-ONE entitled, 'Survival Skills.'

 

Buckshot is an entrepreneur across multiple platforms & is sharing his 15 year knowledge with his A-Z guidebook of the entertainment industry.
